About Katie Renon:
My name is Katie Renon and I am a Certified Childbirth Educator.
Growing up, my mom was practicing as a naturopathic doctor and this optimistic outlook on health was ingrained in my mind from a young age. I’ve always firmly believed that the body is resilient and strong with the right care. I’ve carried this notion with me as a birthing mother and now in my work with birthing families.
Birth is likely the most strenuous athletic event you'll ever participate in. And without a doubt, it's likely one of the most emotionally tolling events of your life. My goal is to prepare you for this momentous event so that birthing mothers and their partners go in feeling confident and prepared.
I'm a firm believer that the best way to be prepared is to educate yourself. Our culture doesn't talk about birth nearly as much as we should and I want to open up that dialogue. I want families giving informed consent to all happenings in their birthing experiences so they can walk away feeling satisfied and stronger for their amazing accomplishment.
I am a wife to a wonderfully supportive husband, the mother to two young children and one old bulldog. I am so thrilled to join you on this incredible journey called birth!

About our Friendship
A walk around Washington Park in the heart of Denver was all we needed to fall into fast friendship. Katie, a girl who is passionate about the wellbeing and informed care of pregnant and postpartum women met with Ashley whose life has carried her gracefully into the heart of Perinatal Mental Health. As our worlds collided, we began dreaming about what it might take to provide a high-quality space for parents to access much needed resources in an expedited manner. In this day and age, we don't always have 9 months or even 12 weeks to devote to a birthing course, or the time necessary to devote to relational and emotional prenatal health. If we are lucky, we get a quick Babymoon to connect before getting back into the grind of life and birthing another being into the family. We both looked at our world and saw families falling apart. People experiencing suffering and sadness in the early stages of life rather than the thriving and fullness of life that we both feel is intended for all parents. We both longed to create an experience for couples that was luxurious, practical, wholistic, educational, relaxing, and curated for couples, by couples who have "been there." And so became, Babymoon and Beyond. We hope you enjoy this experience as much as we have...
